(Sevierville, Tennessee, March 30, 2006) Susan Hill, a Tennessee-based entrepreneur officially announces the launch of Break Time Virtual Services, a VA service offering administrative support to time-challenged home-based business owners. Although home-based businesses are Susan\'s focus, she hasn\'t limited herself to providing support to one particular type of business and offers tasks such as contact management, email management, collections, some human resources tasks and more!
Susan\'s mission in her Virtual Assistant business is to offer time-saving solutions for businesses, and giving the owner time to focus on the core of their business operations. Thanks to technological advances, all of these things can be done in the virtual environment and are cost efficient.
Susan previously co-owned two different small businesses in a small Tennessee town which did a portion of their business online, but she admits, "Opening and operating a home-based business is quite different than your basic brick and mortar business." "The time and commitment are somewhat similar, but when you work primarily online and from home, it involves a totally different routine."
During her years of working from home, she has been a mentor to other women that wanted to work from home and has offered guidance in an effort to help them locate legitimate work from home opportunities so they could be at home for their families and earn an income. Wiping out the commute for many has been a true blessing, especially with the continuous rise in fuel costs and the cost of child care. Susan is firm in her belief that at least one parent needs to be home for the children most of the time.
Although it took some time to get her business going, Susan says, "The challenge would have been greater had it not been for the encouragement she received from a great friend and colleague of mine, Melody Spier." Melody is also a Virtual Assistant and owns Ballyhoo Virtual Services. She began her business last year and has been terrific mentor and co-worker of Susan\'s since they first met several years ago while working for the same company as independent contractors.
Susan Hill is the mother of 3 children and is the owner and operator of Break Time Virtual Services. She is currently attending Kaplan University in pursuit of her AAS degree in Business Administration and Management. For over 7 years, she has offered services to individuals, small businesses, home based businesses and an array of other clients. She is known by some family and friends by her inspirational poetry writing and has had some of her works published.
